Ron Tomlinson
Ron Tomlinson has 17 years experience working in the Oil Field Industry, primarily on building pipeline and facility projects, from entry level to inspection level positions. In addition to providing industrial safety training, he also works as a Field Safety Co-ordinator, consulting on oil field construction projects, on facility shut-downs and on general construction sites. As a certified Construction Safety Officer (CSO), he is a member of ASTTBC (Applied Science Technologists and Technicians of BC), and a professional member of the CSSE (Canadian Society of Safety Engineering). In addition to his certification as a Construction Safety Officer and a Enform Instructor, his educational background includes Level III First Aid Medic (BC), Aviation Diploma from Red Deer College and a Certificate in Project Management from Mount Royal College.
His teaching experience began with mentoring other students in Math and Physics in college (for which he won a merit of recognition), and with teaching children and adult groups of different ethnic backgrounds and nationalities English as a Second Language abroad for 3 years.
